Scholarships

* The Department of Paediatric Surgery in Graz, Austria, offers three months EUPSA scholarships for younger colleagues from Eastern European countries. The scholarships includes accomodation and a small stipend for living expenses during the stay in Graz. It does not include travel expenses. For better mutual understanding, applicants should be able to speak English (or German). The applicant must be an EUPSA member. Informal applications should be send to:

*Dr. Yasen Fayez Alolayet, Chief of Paediatric Surgery Department,

Riyadh Medical Complex, Ministry of Health- Saudi Arabia, has offered two 3-month scholarship /year in his Dept for younger colleagues from European countries, with possibility to extend the program duration to 9 months EUPSA scholarship. The large patient material (neonatal and general paediatric surgery, urology, intersex cases, hypospadias, bladder exstrophy, etc.) would provide an excellent opportunity to meet paediatric surgical anomalies which are rare in Europe.

Dr. Alolayet offers accommodation and small pocket money. The visitors should pay only the airfare. The EUPSA and its Education Office select and strongly support this outstanding training opportunity in Saudi Arabia.
