It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 11th European Congress of Paediatric Surgery in Berne, the capital of Switzerland. The largely medieval old town of Berne has been recognised by UNESCO as a cultural world heritage site. The old town has 6 kilometres of arcades and boasts one of the longest covered shopping promenades in Europe. EUPSA is continuing to grow and thrive.
